Greetings in Christ!
Merry Christmas!! This is the grand and glorious day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be
glad in it! Christ is born this day in the city of David, the light of God is amongst us to guide us in the
way we should go, and everything is different! What an incredible day this is as we welcome
Emmanuel, God with us, into the world!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a great day of joy, fellowship, peace, hope, and above all else, love.
After four weeks of preparation, planning, patience (at least for some…), the day has arrived; it’s
Christmas! We look forward to sharing this special day with as many of you as possible, at one of our
candlelight worship services (4:30 at the Grand Lake Community Chapel, 7:00 at Westminster
Presbyterian Church), or joining us on-line if you can’t make it to one of the services. One of our
favorite services of the year, the warm glow of candles and the even warmer glow of love permeate
the sanctuaries as we welcome Jesus Christ into the world. We’d like to take this opportunity to send
our warmest, most joyous greetings to each and every one of you. Of all the joys we’ve known in our
lives, nothing has been more joyful or more fulfilling than serving you as co-pastors. This is our
eleventh Christmas celebration in Presque Isle County, and every year it seems as if our love for all
of you, and this magical place we call home, grows stronger and deeper. Thank you for allowing us
to share this journey with you! With unbridled happiness, we wish you a joyous and meaningful Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Blessings,
Karen and Greg
